About the Job
Southwestern Advantage is offering a paid summer work/internship position for college students from all majors. This is an outside sales internship designed to teach students how to run their own business and effectively build relationships with consumers. Interns will have the unique opportunity to travel to another state and will receive 100 to 300 hours of professional sales, leadership, and marketing coaching. We are looking for an ideal candidate who is ready to take on the following responsibilities and possesses the listed qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Engage in consultative sales practices.
- Communicate with a diverse range of 3,500 to 5,000 families from all economic backgrounds.
- Create and nurture relationships, building strong rapport with customers.
- Direct sales of educational products.
- Execute all aspects of business operations including ordering, inventory management, sales, accounting, scheduling, and product delivery.
Qualifications
- Must be a current college student or a recent college graduate.
- Possess a positive attitude.
- Be highly goal-oriented.
- Demonstrate strong personal motivation.
- Exhibit a strong work ethic.
- Be teachable and coachable, eager to learn.
- Show a willingness to learn and develop essential business skills.
- Capable of independent decision-making.
