Paid Social Media & Content Creation Intern | Summit Media
The Tone:
This is an internship at Summit Media, located in Anchorage, Alaska (Hybrid). Summit Media works with notable Alaska-based brands across various industries, including nightlife, retail, hospitality, and events. This role offers a unique opportunity for individuals to gain direct, hands-on experience in modern marketing, content creation, and social media, contributing to real campaigns for local businesses and events.

• Mission: This intern will support marketing campaigns and social media initiatives for local Anchorage businesses and events by creating and organizing content.
• Tech Stack: CapCut, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Lightroom, Premiere
What You’ll Actually Do
• Capture Content: Help execute photo and video shoots for clients and events, capturing compelling visual content.
• Produce Video: Edit short-form video content for social media platforms such as Instagram Reels and TikTok.
• Manage Social Media: Prepare, organize, and schedule social media posts for various client campaigns.
• Organize Assets: Maintain and organize content libraries and other digital assets.
• Provide Support: Assist with shoot preparation, run occasional errands, and support marketing campaigns for local businesses and events.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Current college Junior/Senior or recent graduate interested in marketing, public relations, social media, or content creation; must be 21+.
• Experience: Light experience with photography and basic video editing (Reels/TikTok style content); comfortable working with Instagram, TikTok, and social media trends.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to follow creative direction.
• Bonus: Familiarity with CapCut, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Lightroom, or Premiere; reliable transportation in Anchorage; willingness to occasionally work evenings or weekends for events or shoots.
