Job Description: Paid Internship (Starting May 2025)
Veterans United offers paid summer internships beginning May 2025. The internships are designed to provide meaningful work impacting the community, coupled with professional development opportunities. Interns will receive training and experience in the mortgage industry, participate in company-wide social events, and have opportunities for volunteer work.
Focus Area: Loan Coordinating
Interns in the Loan Coordinating focus area will:
• Assist with administrative tasks and maintain organization.
• Learn about the department’s functions and its role within the mortgage industry.
• Contribute to a supportive team environment by assisting with tasks (excluding licensed activities).
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate is a hardworking, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. They are open to feedback, can follow directions independently, proactively identifies tasks needing completion, and possesses strong time management skills. Specific majors are not required; translatable skills and relevant expertise are prioritized.
