Job Description: Packaging Co-Op
This is a co-op opportunity for undergraduate students who are passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion. The program involves a three-day virtual Diversity Leadership Symposium (DLS) from August 13-15, 2024.
DLS Highlights:
• Learn about Nestlé’s culture, network with peers and employees, and interview for the Fall 2025 Packaging Co-Op.
• Gain valuable exposure to career paths at Nestlé.
• Network with business leaders and peers from universities nationwide.
• Secure a potential internship offer at the end of the symposium.
Internship Details:
• The internship is a paid summer opportunity within the Technical Applications Group (TAG).
• Students will participate in all aspects of the product development process, from design to manufacturing.
• They will be given real-life responsibilities, including leading projects, assisting with new product development, quality improvements, and cost optimization.
• There may be opportunities for factory visits, testing, protocol development, culinary experiences, and vendor presentations.
Program Goals:
• Develop future professionals for Nestlé’s Technical Applications Group.
• Provide experience in a dynamic and collaborative work environment.
• Offer potential full-time employment opportunities.
Requirements:
• Must be enrolled in a BS or MS degree program in Food Science, Food Engineering, Bakery Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Completion of degree by Spring 2026 (Spring 2025 preferred).
• GPA of 3.0 and above preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Excellent teamwork and leadership abilities.
