The Tone:
This is a full-time, in-person role at Swire Coca-Cola, USA. The company is a family-owned bottling operation with a history spanning over two centuries, now one of North America’s largest Coca-Cola bottlers. As a core member of the Warehouse team, the Order Builder is pivotal in ensuring that customers receive accurate and timely product orders, which directly contributes to keeping stores fully stocked with popular beverage brands. This role is fundamental to the efficient flow of products from the warehouse to the consumer, supporting the company’s commitment to customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Type: Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM Start until Finished
• Location: In-person
• Pay: $20.25 hourly
• Team: Warehouse team member
• Mission: To accurately and efficiently build customer orders using powered industrial trucks, ensuring products are ready for shipment to maintain fully stocked stores.
• Tech Stack: Voice-picking software, powered industrial equipment (pallet jack and/or hand truck)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Build Customer Orders: Utilize voice-picking software and operate powered industrial equipment, such as a pallet jack or hand truck, to accurately pull specified quantities of inventory and construct customer orders onto pallets.
• Ensure Order Quality and Security: Construct precise, high-quality product orders, ensuring each pallet is securely built and prepared for safe transport before being loaded into delivery trucks.
• Manage Staging and Shipment Preparation: Stage completed pallets efficiently in designated shipping areas, organizing them for streamlined loading and dispatch to various customer locations.
• Maintain Equipment and Safety Standards: Conduct daily inspections and perform minor maintenance on powered industrial equipment as necessary, consistently adhering to all warehouse safety standards to ensure safe operation.
• Support Warehouse Operations: Replenish product in picking areas when required to maintain continuous order fulfillment, and participate in assigned meetings, training, special projects, and events.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Others. A High School Diploma or GED is a mandatory requirement for this role, providing a foundational understanding for warehouse operations.
• Experience: While prior experience in a warehouse setting and operating a pallet jack (manual or power) or forklift is preferred, the ability to obtain pallet jack operator certification within one month of the hire date is essential for all successful candidates.
• Skills: Demonstrating the ability to execute essential job functions with minimal supervision, possessing the physical capability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds (which may be repetitive), and having the flexibility to work weekends and holidays as business needs dictate.
• Bonus: Prior experience specifically within a warehouse environment, or previous hands-on experience operating either a manual or powered pallet jack, or a forklift.
