This Order Builder position is an integral part of the Warehouse team, ensuring that all customers consistently receive accurate orders in a timely manner. The work directly contributes to keeping stores fully stocked with the company’s wide range of products, playing a critical role in the distribution process by meticulously building and preparing delivery loads for shipment. This work is performed in a warehouse setting, often requiring the use of powered industrial trucks and strict adherence to safety standards.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Order Building: Utilize voice-picking software and precisely operate powered industrial equipment, including pallet jacks and hand trucks, to efficiently pull defined quantities of inventory and construct customer orders onto pallets.
• Shipment Preparation: Build accurate, quality product orders, meticulously ensuring each order is secure and ready for safe transport before being loaded into the truck for final delivery.
• Staging and Movement: Stage all completed pallets in their designated shipping areas within the warehouse, optimizing the flow for efficient loading and dispatch.
• Equipment Management: Perform thorough daily inspections and undertake minor maintenance on equipment as needed, ensuring continuous safe and operational use of all powered industrial trucks.
• Inventory Support: Actively restock product in picking areas, contributing to an organized and readily accessible inventory system for ongoing order fulfillment.
The Must-Haves
• Background: A High School Diploma or GED is required. Foundational knowledge of general warehouse operations and safety standards is essential to perform the duties of this role effectively.
• Experience: While no specific years of experience are mandated, candidates must demonstrate the ability to obtain pallet jack operator certification within one month of their hire date.
• Skills: Proficiency in operating powered industrial equipment, specifically pallet jacks and hand trucks, is crucial. The role requires the ability to effectively use voice-picking software for order accuracy and efficiency in a warehouse setting. Candidates must possess the physical capability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks, executing essential functions independently with minimal supervision while consistently adhering to all warehouse safety standards. The ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by business needs is also required.
• Bonus: Prior experience working within a warehouse environment or previous hands-on experience operating a pallet jack (manual or power) or a forklift is preferred and will be an advantage.
