Operations – Supply Chain Internship Program
This 12-week paid internship program is designed for sophomores, juniors, and seniors interested in a career in the powersports industry. The program offers impactful project-based assignments that directly align with Polaris’ business objectives. Interns gain experience in various areas of the supply chain, including:
• Supplier Development: Assessing suppliers, negotiating prices, validating corrective actions.
• Purchasing and Materials: Managing quality, cost, delivery, and logistics.
• Sourcing: Forecasting cost, volume, compatibility, and quality of future packing methods.
• Logistics: Optimizing utilization of assets used in material movement globally.
• NPI (New Product Introduction): Developing new products.
• Lean: Implementing continuous improvement projects.
• Supplier Quality: Facilitating improvements in global supplier metrics.
• Manufacturing Engineering and Quality: Analyzing manufacturing methods, developing process documentation, resolving quality and warranty issues.
Internship Locations: Osceola, WI; Roseau, MN; Spirit Lake, IA; Huntsville, AL; Wyoming, MN; Plymouth, MN; Battle Ground, WA; Wilmington, OH; Vermillion, SD and other potential locations.
This program is a primary feeder into Polaris’ rotational leadership development program, providing interns with valuable skills and experiences. Upon successful completion, interns may be offered a returning internship or a full-time position.

Requirements:
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Engineering Sciences, Operations, or related degree with an intended graduation date between December 2024-May 2027.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
• Ability to commit to a full 12-week internship (40 hours/week).
• Geographic willingness to partake in the intern matching process.
• Proven strength in analysis, creative problem-solving, communication, interpersonal relationships, self-motivation, and leadership.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous Internship/Co-op experience.
• Previous leadership experience.
• Completion of at least two years of university coursework.
