Key Responsibilities
As an Operations Intern, you will:
- Provide direct support to the operations team, contributing to daily activities.
- Gain hands-on experience in effective and efficient operations within a culture of continuous improvement.
- Shadow and learn how to maintain production practices that uphold the food safety program within the facility.
- Experience monitoring product quality and production operations to consistently meet customer expectations.
- Understand how to foster an environment where all team members are active and involved in the business.
- Recognize and celebrate successes within the team.
- Challenge team members to achieve their full potential.
- Shadow supervisors to identify and resolve problems or bottlenecks in production processes.
- Learn how to ensure production resources (materials, equipment, human resources) are available to maintain product schedules.
- Support continuous improvement goals across safety, quality, cost, and customer service.
- Implement practical solutions to fix identified problems or bottlenecks.
- Create meaningful relationships with hourly team members.
- Shadow production supervisors to understand their day-to-day operations and responsibilities.
- Learn the basics of anticipating and determining causes of delays in shift operations and taking appropriate actions to meet production schedules.
- Complete and present a significant project related to operational issues within the department, with real-world implications.

Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a four-year university or pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive hourly wage of $21/hour.
- A generous $2,500 relocation stipend to support your move.
