Operations & Property Intern

The Operations & Property Intern will support hands-on property operations with a primary focus on grounds maintenance, seasonal clean-up, and general manual labor. As the internship progresses, the intern will also spend dedicated time in the office learning property management fundamentals, capital raise concepts, internal classes, and administrative operations. This role is designed to provide a well-rounded introduction to real-world property and business operations.

Primary Responsibilities (Field / Manual Labor Focus)

  • Perform yard, landscaping, and weed management across properties.
  • Assist with spring clean-up and seasonal property maintenance projects.
  • Support property appearance standards through trash removal, light cleanup, and outdoor upkeep.
  • Assist maintenance and operations teams with general labor as needed.
  • Follow safety guidelines and use tools and equipment properly.

Secondary Responsibilities (Office & Operations Exposure)

  • Spend designated time in the office learning property and business operations.
  • Receive training on capital raise concepts and internal operational classes.
  • Assist with basic property office support, filing, data entry, and organization.
  • Observe and support property management workflows and administrative tasks.
  • Participate in special projects as the role evolves and skills develop.

Learning Opportunities

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or trade program (preferred, not required).
  • Comfortable performing physical, outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
  • Basic computer skills for office learning components.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work outdoors for extended periods.
  • Ability to safely use basic hand tools and equipment.
