The Tone:
This is a summer internship at Wonderful Pistachios & Almonds, located in Lost Hills, CA. The company is the world’s largest vertically integrated pistachio and almond processor, committed to providing high-quality, sustainably harvested nuts. This role is crucial for improving existing production processes, directly contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of the company’s operations area. The intern’s work will help maintain the commitment to delivering the highest-quality nuts to customers and consumers worldwide.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Collection: Conduct thorough data collection on existing manufacturing processes to gather critical information.
• Process Analysis: Analyze collected data using various methodologies to identify specific areas for operational improvement.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to gather insights, validate, and refine new procedures.
• Project Implementation: Work on a designated project to implement and test process improvements aimed at increasing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Performance Reporting: Track and report key performance indicators related to improved processes to monitor progress and impact.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Student enrolled in the Wonderful Scholar College Success program, aged 18 or older, with an eagerness to learn and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Skills: Analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in data collection and analysis tools, excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to adapt to a manufacturing environment.
• Bonus: Preferred bilingual in English and Spanish
