Operations Paralegal | Morgan & Morgan, P.A.

• Team: Personal Injury Operations Department
• Mission: Oversees and streamlines attorney activities and case progression, ensuring deadlines are met and cases move forward efficiently to uphold consumer rights.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Oversee Strategic Projects: Accomplish strategic objectives by overseeing multiple project activities within the department.
• Manage Case Progression: Provide operational oversight for attorneys, including scheduling depositions, coordinating with courts and defense counsel, and ensuring timely demand submissions to advance cases.
• Implement Process Improvements: Audit attorney and staff tasks, establishing and executing processes to proactively ensure operational efficiency and track case filing deadlines.
• Support Litigation: Assist in the preparation and trial of lawsuits by ensuring attorneys follow all necessary steps, including conducting legal research, managing files, and preparing witnesses.
• Develop Best Practices: Help create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for best practices in progressing personal injury cases forward.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Paralegal degree or paralegal certification from an accredited institute of learning, or similar experience, with comprehensive knowledge of legal terminology.
• Experience: Three to five (3-5) years of paralegal experience.
• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent written and oral communication, PC literacy with Microsoft Office Programs, impeccable organizational skills, keen attention to detail, ability to multitask, diplomacy, pragmatism, and assertiveness.
• Bonus: Adaptability, curiosity, and creative problem-solving skills to manage complexity in an evolving space while maintaining balance.
