Job Description: Operations Manager Trainee
This is a training program designed to develop future leaders within Avis Budget Group. As an Operations Manager Trainee, you’ll undergo an eight-week hands-on training program, rotating through key operational areas like Sales, Logistics, and Customer Service. The goal is to master skills to enhance financial profitability, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction while leading teams.
After completing the training, you will transition into a supervisory role, overseeing daily operations and sales functions. You’ll be responsible for:
• Maximizing fleet utilization.
• Increasing revenue.
• Ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Managing employees.
You will receive mentorship to develop your skills and advance from Operations Manager to Area Vice President.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Participating in an eight-week training program covering various operational areas.
• Learning to enhance financial profitability and operational efficiency.
• Leading teams to improve customer satisfaction.
• Supervising daily operations and sales functions after training completion.
• Maximizing fleet utilization and revenue.
• Ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Managing employees.
• Receiving mentorship to advance within the company.

Qualifications:
• Recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree OR associate’s degree plus at least two years’ supervisory experience
• Demonstrated strong leadership capabilities and the ability to work well in a team
• Valid driver’s license
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays
• Willingness to work outdoors in weather conditions with moderate noise levels
• Regular, on-site presence is required (no remote work)
