Job Description: Operations Management Associate

This is a training role designed to prepare individuals to lead diverse teams as plant Operations Supervisors after a 6-12 month program. The role focuses on providing the support and inspiration needed to develop an exciting career with global impact. The training path is customizable, potentially including:

Operations: Hands-on experience in plant operations.
Environmental, Health & Safety Leadership: Developing expertise in safety regulations and practices.
Engineering/Maintenance: Understanding and contributing to plant maintenance and engineering processes.
Accounting: Gaining familiarity with financial aspects of plant operations.
Continuous Improvement: Implementing and participating in process improvement initiatives.
Human Resources/Talent Management/Employee Relations: Developing leadership and team management skills.

The position offers the opportunity to contribute to the company’s mission of nourishing the world. The work environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and involves working in various temperatures (hot, cold, wet) and conditions. Shift work, including weekends and occasional on-call duties, is expected depending on customer demand.

Job Locations: The position requires relocation and is available across the United States. Potential locations include Butler, WI; Columbus, NE; Dodge City, KS; Hazleton, PA; Lake Odessa, MI; Mason City, IA; North Kingstown, RI; and Wyalusing, PA.

Required Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (May 2022 – Summer 2025 completion dates) OR
• An Associate’s Degree + two years of relevant work experience (operational, mechanical, and/or leadership) OR
• Achieved E-4 rank (or higher) in the military OR
• Four years of relevant experience (operational, mechanical, and/or leadership)
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (not based solely on a student visa or third-party employer sponsorship)
• Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and cultures
• Willingness to relocate
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts and weekends (as needed)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Pursuing an agriculture or business-related degree (e.g., Animal Science, Ag-Economics, Ag-Business, etc.)

Compensation: The expected salary is $65,000 (not adjusted for geographic differentials). A comprehensive benefits package is offered, including medical and other benefits (dependent on position and hours worked).
