Operations Management Associate Position
This position is a training role designed to prepare you for a leadership role as a Plant Operations Supervisor after completing a 6-12 month program. This program will provide you with the support and guidance to develop your skills and carve your own path within Cargill.

Internship Locations and Expectations:
• Plant setting: This role is based in a plant environment.
• Shift work: You will be required to work varying shift hours, including 8 to 10-hour shifts and potentially 6-day weeks, depending on customer demand.
• Weekend and on-call duties: Occasional weekend and on-call duties may be required.
Environment:
• Fast-paced: The work environment will be fast-paced and require you to be adaptable and responsive.
• Varying temperatures: Depending on the task, you will work in different temperature conditions, including cold, hot, wet, and possibly messy environments.

Required Currently pursuings:
• Education: Completed or anticipated completion of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree by the start date, or an Associate’s degree plus two years of relevant work experience, or E-4 rank (or higher) in the military, or four years of relevant work experience.
• Work authorization: Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on a student visa or a third-party sponsored visa.
• Cultural competency: Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Relocation: Willingness and ability to relocate.
• Teamwork: Ability to contribute effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Shift flexibility: Willingness to work 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts and weekends as needed.
Preferred Currently pursuings:
• Degree: Pursuing an agriculture or business-related degree (e.g., Animal Science, Ag-Economics, Ag-Business, Ag-Education, Agronomy, Food Science, Feed Science, Meat Science, Operations Management, Ag-Systems Management, Ag-Engineering, Supply Chain, Mechanized Systems Management, Industrial Distribution).
Compensation:
• Stipend: The expected salary for this position is $65,000. This salary has not been adjusted for geographic differentials.
