Operations Internship Program

The Role: Fidelity’s Operations Internship Program (FIDTERN) is a 10-week, world-class opportunity for college-level students to explore and learn more about Fidelity’s business and culture. Interns will work closely with clients and business partners to ensure seamless delivery of Fidelity’s products and services. The program offers a cohesive and centralized experience with numerous opportunities to network and learn from Fidelity associates.

Key Areas of Focus:

Client Experience (CE):
Client-facing associates: Providing phone support and onboarding clients onto the Wealthscape brokerage platform.
Transaction processing: Processing new account openings and other requests submitted by clients.
Training group: Providing clients with information and support to maximize their use of Wealthscape.
Healthcare Operations (HCO):
• Delivering industry-leading customer service.
• Providing solutions to empower employees to make informed healthcare benefit decisions.
• Enabling digital tools that drive the best health and wellness decisions for clients’ employees.
• Candidates should have a strong curiosity about process improvement and healthcare benefits.
Fidelity Fund & Investment Operations (FFIO):
• Providing investment management support services to Fidelity businesses and mutual fund shareholders.
• Offering asset servicing functions like proxy research, information and data services, pricing, cash management, accounting, integrated solutions, relationship management, and global product services.
• Seeking candidates with analytical and technical backgrounds.
Operations Service Group (OSG):
• Supporting institutional and corporate clients, as well as Financial Reps, Financial Rep Assistants, and shareholders, with a full range of transfer agent services.
• Responsibilities include responding to inbound calls, performing trade execution, and acting as a client advocate.
Personal Investing (PI):
• Supporting Fidelity’s Personal Investment associates and retail clients with new accounts, account features, money movement, and other needs.
• Focused on accurate and swift execution of all client requests.

Compensation & Benefits:

Base Salary: $50,000 – $70,000 per year, based on job responsibilities, location, experience, and other factors.
