Operations Internship Program:

This 10-week internship program, fondly called the “FIDTERN Program,” provides college students with a comprehensive experience of Fidelity’s business and culture. Interns will work closely with clients and business partners, gaining valuable experience in various operational aspects of the company.

The program offers:

Learning opportunities: Interns will work on real-world projects and learn from experienced Fidelity associates.
Networking opportunities: Interns will have numerous opportunities to connect with other interns and Fidelity employees.
A chance to explore different areas of Fidelity: The program covers a wide range of operational roles, allowing interns to gain exposure to diverse departments and learn about different aspects of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Interns will work in one of the following areas:

Client Experience (CE):
Client-facing roles: Assisting clients on the phone, onboarding them onto the Wealthscape platform, and providing information and support.
Transaction processing: Handling new account openings and processing transaction requests.
Training and support: Providing clients with training and support to maximize their use of the Wealthscape platform.
Healthcare Operations (HCO):
• Delivering exceptional customer service in the healthcare industry.
• Providing solutions to enable employees to make informed healthcare benefit decisions.
• Supporting the development of digital tools that enhance health and wellness choices.
Fidelity Fund & Investment Operations (FFIO):
• Providing investment management support services to Fidelity businesses and mutual fund shareholders.
• Handling asset servicing functions such as proxy research, pricing, cash management, and accounting.
Operations Service Group (OSG):
• Providing comprehensive servicing to institutional, corporate clients, Financial Representatives, and shareholders.
• Responding to inbound calls, executing trades, and acting as a client advocate.
Personal Investing (PI):
• Supporting Fidelity’s Personal Investment associates and Retail clients.
• Handling new account openings, account features, money movement, and other client requests.

Compensation and Benefits:

Base salary: $50,000 – $70,000 per year (depending on experience, location, and responsibilities)
Potential bonus and variable compensation
