Job Title: Intern, Operations Team (New York Frozen Foods Team)
Overview of Internship Program:
The Marzetti Company’s Summer Internship Program is designed for ambitious students ready to launch their careers, offering hands-on experience that goes beyond resume building to expand post-graduation career possibilities. The program provides unique experiences within a student’s field of interest, alongside valuable insight into other key areas of the business. Marzetti is specifically seeking an Intern to join the Operations Team at the New York Frozen Foods Team for the summer of 2025.
Responsibilities:
The Intern will be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at understanding and improving operational processes:
• Learning the production process and collaborating with cross-functional groups.
• Completing an improvement project.
• Working on cost-saving and productivity projects alongside the team.
• Developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), processes, or One Point Lessons (OPLs) for improvements.
• Training with supervisors and covering shifts as needed.
• Following up on SAP Consumptions and identifying deficiencies within the system.

Qualifications:
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
• Currently enrolled in an Undergraduate or Graduate accredited University with a focus in: Food Science, Supply Chain, Manufacturing/Engineering.
• Demonstrated teamwork and leadership abilities through extracurricular activities and/or prior work experience.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to demonstrate sound judgment and apply logical thinking when creating solutions.
• Displays curiosity and initiative.
• Maintains a professional, positive attitude when interacting with team members.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office® applications, specifically Microsoft Excel.
