Internship Program:
The Sonoco internship program offers a unique opportunity to gain real-world experience in the manufacturing and packaging industry. Interns will work on impactful projects within a specific division of Sonoco, gaining valuable insights into the company’s culture and processes. The program provides a blend of hands-on experiences and opportunities to develop a strong business mindset.
Program Highlights:
• Duration: Approximately 12 weeks
• Location: Across approximately 150 locations in 34 states, interns must be open to relocation.
• Compensation: Paid internship with relocation assistance provided.
• Housing & Activities: Housing and activity allowance provided, with company-sponsored events for interns.
• Career Path: Internship is designed as a stepping stone towards the Emerging Leaders Program or other entry-level positions upon graduation.
Key Requirements for Applicants:
• Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Engineering, Sciences, Technology or Business majors.
• Experience: Previous internship experience (preferably in Manufacturing or functional area).
• Leadership: Proven leadership experience.
• Technical Skills: Technical aptitude.
• Communication: Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Senior: $4,100
• Junior: $3,900
• Sophomore: $3,700
• Freshman: $3,500
Undergraduate Engineering/Technical Degrees:
• Senior: $4,700
• Junior: $4,500
• Sophomore: $4,100
• Freshman: $4,000
Graduate Degree Business/Non-Technical:
• Senior: $4,900
Graduate Degree Engineering/Technical:
• Senior: $5,500
