Job Overview & Program Details

The MHC Operations Intern Program is an intensive 12-week summer internship, designed as an accelerated version of our full-time Management Trainee Program. This program offers a unique opportunity for a hands-on, deep dive into the operational intricacies of either our Parts or Service Department. Interns will gain invaluable experience by rotating through each departmental position, actively contributing to the business, and culminating in a significant process improvement project.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Execute Business Initiatives: Actively participate in and execute business initiatives, gaining hands-on experience across various facets of a dealership environment.
  • Supervised Learning: Perform assigned job functions, leveraging your education, training, and experience, all under the close supervision of a manager or other designated employees.
  • Departmental Rotation: Develop critical business acumen by rotating through different positions within the assigned department, fostering a comprehensive understanding of business operations.
  • Impactful Project: Contribute directly to business efficiency by conducting a summer-long process improvement project, with the opportunity to make a tangible impact.
  • Career Pipeline: This internship serves as a direct pipeline into MHC’s Full-Time Management Trainee Program for successful candidates.

Qualifications

  • Academic Pursuit: Must be actively pursuing a graduate or undergraduate degree at an accredited college or university.
