Job Title: Operations Intern
Location: Milton, ND
Internship Duration: Summer 2026 (can start as early as summer 2026 depending on business needs and availability, extending through the summer).
Summary:
Join CHS for an exceptional internship experience in Milton, ND as an Operations Intern. This role offers competitive pay, a dynamic learning environment, and long-term growth opportunities. As an Operations Intern, you will collaborate closely with CHS customers to deliver top-notch service and provide valuable insights, contributing to the empowerment of agriculture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gain knowledge of general agronomy skills, including scouting, crop protection products, crop nutrient products, seed, custom application procedures, mixing procedures, truck driving, and product delivery.
- Perform all agronomy/seed operations.
- Monitor and maintain the quality of inventory.
- Regulate and perform periodic housecleaning processes and record keeping.
- Assist with repairs and preventative maintenance for all agronomy equipment, including legs, conveyors, towers, vehicles, sprayers, floaters, trucks, etc.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers as needed.
- Work in and maintain an environment that is compliant with state, local, and CHS Environmental and Safety policy.
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
- Currently enrolled in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or other Agriculture related degree program.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Software.
Additional Information:
CHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes a base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives, and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, and minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
