Overview: Summer 2026 Operations Internship Program

This program is meticulously designed to offer more than just resume-building experience; it aims to significantly expand your career possibilities post-graduation.

Our internships provide students with unique, hands-on experiences within their chosen field, alongside valuable insights into other crucial areas of our business. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Operations Intern to join our New York Frozen Foods Team for the summer of 2026. This is an unparalleled opportunity to contribute directly to our operational excellence and gain practical experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Process Learning: Gain an in-depth understanding of the end-to-end production processes within the New York Frozen Foods Team and collaborate effectively with various cross-functional groups to achieve operational goals.
  • Improvement Project Leadership: Take ownership of and successfully complete a significant improvement project aimed at enhancing efficiency, quality, or safety within the operations.
  • Cost-Saving & Productivity Initiatives: Actively participate in and contribute to cost-saving and productivity-focused projects alongside the Operations team, identifying areas for optimization and implementing solutions.
  • Documentation Development: Create and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), detailed process documentation, or One Point Lessons (OPLs) to standardize best practices and facilitate continuous improvement.
  • Supervisory Training & Support: Train closely with experienced supervisors, gaining insight into leadership and operational management. Opportunities may arise to cover shifts as needed, providing direct experience in real-time production oversight.
  • SAP Consumption Analysis: Monitor and analyze SAP consumption data to understand material usage, identify discrepancies, and uncover areas for improvement in material management and inventory control.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Currently enrolled in an Undergraduate or Graduate accredited University with a strong academic focus in areas such as Food Science, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Engineering.
  • Demonstrated Leadership: Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and exhibit leadership qualities, evidenced through extracurricular activities, previous work experience, or academic projects.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, capable of interacting effectively with diverse groups.
  • Problem-Solving Acumen: Demonstrates sound judgment and applies logical thinking to create effective and practical solutions to challenges.
