Operations Coordinator | Imperative Chemical Partners

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Imperative Chemical Partners, located in Bryan, TX. Imperative Chemical Partners is a key player in the chemical industry, providing essential products and services. The Operations Coordinator position is foundational, offering critical administrative and operational support to the Operations Department. This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of vital data, streamlines departmental workflows, and facilitates effective communication across all internal teams, including Payroll, Accounting, Supply Chain, Fleet, and Digital. Furthermore, the Coordinator serves as a crucial point of contact, interacting with both external customers and high-level internal and external individuals, demanding confidentiality, diplomacy, and professionalism. By maintaining meticulous records and proactively resolving issues, this position directly contributes to the operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and overall reliability of the company’s vital supply chain and customer service functions.

• Mission: To provide essential administrative and technical support to the Operations Department, ensuring data accuracy, facilitating smooth operations, and resolving issues to maintain efficient company workflows.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Management & Reporting: Accurately correct and update customer information, shipping documents, delivery tickets, and pricing within the mPP system, while also generating various monthly reports from mPP or NetSuite as needed.
• Inventory Reconciliation: Meticulously ensure the correct entry of inventory transfers and subsequent reconciliation processes for goods at satellite yards and warehouses within the NetSuite system.
• Customer & Billing Support: Proactively resolve customer inquiries and issues, escalating more complex problems to the billing team or Account Managers as required; also, notify the billing manager of any changes to customer information or pricing.
• Technical & Equipment Assistance: Provide initial troubleshooting for common mPP system issues, offer basic technical guidance for applications like Excel or logging into laptops and NetSuite, and assist with the assignment of essential equipment (e.g., phones, laptops).
• Interdepartmental Coordination: Serve as a central point of contact for communication and collaboration with various departments (e.g., Payroll, Accounting, Supply Chain, Fleet, Digital), assisting other coordinators and handling requests related to UKG and Emburse.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience in an administrative support capacity.
• Experience: No minimum years strictly required for entry, but preferred qualifications include 2+ years providing administrative support and 2+ years of QuickBooks experience.
• Skills: Effective oral and written communication, strong customer service abilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Products.
• Bonus: An Associate degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
