Operations Coordinator | USPack

The Tone:
This is an entry-level, full-time role at USPack, a leading logistics provider specializing in custom same-day delivery solutions. USPack is dedicated to helping brands and businesses succeed in the delivery economy by staying ahead of trends and investing in its people. This role is pivotal for coordinating daily operations, ensuring all company and client goals are met, and supporting the network of independent contractors. The Operations Coordinator plays a vital part in maintaining USPack’s commitment to service excellence and customer satisfaction.

• Mission: This person provides essential coordination to ensure all company and client goals are met for specific operations and clients, actively participating in the management of independent contractors for product transport.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Operations Monitoring & Scheduling: Monitor all routes to ensure coverage, timely execution, and completion of Independent Contractor check-ins, communicating status to customers; create new routes and restructure existing ones based on customer requirements to guarantee on-time execution.
• Communication & Issue Resolution: Act as a key communicator, informing both customers and the dispatch department of any delays or operational problems, and working directly with Independent Contractors to assist with issues they encounter while under dispatch.
• Independent Contractor Compliance: Ensure Independent Contractors comply with the IC log in process, EC-mobile, customer regulations for vehicle types, and requirements for uniform shirts and visible ID badges, including following up on their paperwork.
• Reporting & Administrative Tasks: Complete required daily service reports for customers and process various administrative reports and paperwork as directed, including assisting with contracting activities for Independent Contractors.
• Service Coordination & Coverage: Assist in arranging for STAT coverage for customers as needed, confirming that Independent Contractors provide contracted delivery services in compliance with customer regulations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: This is an entry-level position that requires a College Degree or a High School Diploma combined with an equivalent amount of relevant education and experience.
• Experience: Candidates must possess experience with basic Microsoft Office Programs, including Outlook, Excel, and Word, for daily operational tasks and reporting.
• Skills: Demonstrated ability to be proactive and resourceful, capability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, independent judgment for planning and prioritizing competing tasks, ability to develop and maintain meaningful business relationships with customers, and maintaining a valid driver’s license and clean, functional vehicle.
• Bonus: Six Sigma Green Belt Certification is preferred, which indicates a background in process improvement and efficiency.
