This is a full-time, warehouse-based role at Lime, requiring onsite presence during assigned business hours in Indianapolis, Indiana. As an Operations Associate, you will play a crucial part in enhancing Lime’s vehicle fleet, optimizing both warehouse and field teams, and acting as the local eyes and ears to understand the specific needs of riders in Indianapolis. This position offers a significant opportunity to be at the forefront of shaping the future of mobility, addressing operational challenges from the moment a vehicle arrives in the warehouse until a customer completes their ride.

• Mission: Solve operational challenges related to the shared electric vehicle fleet, from arrival in the warehouse to customer ride completion, enhancing fleet performance and optimizing local teams.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Team Leadership: Hire, train, and provide coaching to all levels of Mechanics and Fleet Support positions responsible for repairing, deploying, and retrieving shared electric vehicles.
• Warehouse Optimization: Build a safe, compliant, and efficient warehouse environment that ensures a fully operational fleet for Indianapolis and surrounding regions.
• Process Innovation: Define new processes and best practices to drive operational excellence within the warehouse and in the field.
• Strategic Collaboration: Partner cross-functionally on operations projects that result in identifying expansion opportunities within your regions.
• Performance Analytics: Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that measure the profitability, revenue, and operational performance of your markets.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Requires 1-3 years of professional work experience, ideally with at least 1 year in an Operations position, coupled with a background in industrial engineering or operations management.
• Experience: Demonstrated experience leading teams or groups, along with proven expertise specific to the Indianapolis region, enabling the anticipation of operational needs and challenges.
• Skills: Intermediate+ proficiency with Excel and Google Sheets for data navigation and inference, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and a valid in-state driver license with a clean driving record. The role also requires a growth mindset, continuous improvement orientation, and the ability to make sound, data-based decisions with a cost-focused mindset in ambiguous environments.
• Bonus: Knowledge of Tableau and SQL would be an added advantage.
