Vault Operations Associate | Fanatics

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Fanatics, located in Tigard, OR. Fanatics is building a leading global digital sports platform that ignites the passions of over 100 million global sports fans by offering products and services across Fanatics Commerce, Fanatics Collectibles, and Fanatics Betting & Gaming. Specifically, this role is with Fanatics Collect, the largest trading card marketplace worldwide, redefining the future of collectibles as a leading platform for storage, research, and liquidity. As an Operations Associate, you play a critical part in the Operations Department, supporting both intake and logistics to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timely processing of high-value items moving through the vault.

• Mission: Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timely processing of all items moving in and out of the vault.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Asset Curation & Storage: Manage the intake and curation of high-value collectibles, including vintage, modern, and TCG cards, ensuring accurate titling according to Fanatics Collect formatting standards, then review, organize, and archive these assets for secure vault storage.
• Auction & Fulfillment Preparation: Prepare collectibles for auction listings by reviewing and replacing images/videos as needed, and support client fulfillments by identifying and pulling inventory items, accurately packaging, and labeling orders while verifying serial numbers.
• Logistics & Shipping: Process high volumes of inbound and outbound shipments, manage incoming packages, and handle auction fulfillments, including re-stickering archival keys and transferring items between various locations.
• Authentication Process Support: Execute crucial pre- and post-authentication steps, which involve detailed imaging, video shooting, comprehensive review, and finalization of assets.
• Inventory Management & Collaboration: Maintain precise digital inventory records, monitor asset status in real-time, and collaborate cross-functionally with teams like Imaging, Raw Card Ingestion, and Logistics to resolve any discrepancies, mis-shipments, or rush orders.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early-Level career, with core domain knowledge in logistics, warehousing, or asset management.
• Experience: Professional experience in logistics, warehousing, or asset management.
• Skills: Strong organizational abilities with acute attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in using computers and inventory management software, and a high level of integrity and discretion when handling high-value assets.
• Bonus: Prior background in collectibles or e-commerce is preferred.
