Responsibilities

• Verify and correct mail and packages using available tools and systems.
• Operate UPS or FedEx equipment for shipping packages and verifying addresses.
• Operate X-ray machines to detect possible incoming threats, following established notification processes.
• Operate a golf cart for the delivery, pick-up, and drop-off of packages.
• Communicate package and pallet delivery pick-ups with recipient orders.
• Handle guest communication regarding guest recovery or lost & found packages.
• Maintain adequate levels of shipping, receiving, and daily supplies for operations.
• Operate a forklift, electric pallet jack, manual pallet jack, electric cart, manual cart, and dolly for receiving deliveries from freight companies and vendors.
• Monitor and maintain a safe and secure environment for both team members and guests of all ages, adhering to all company guidelines and protocols.
• Identify, de-escalate, and resolve conflicts or disturbances professionally and effectively to maintain a positive atmosphere.
• Provide a positive and welcoming experience for guests of all ages, maintaining composure during difficult interactions.
• Maintain a high level of trust and integrity to promote a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues of all ages.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• CA Class C Driver’s License required.

Job Demands

• Must be able to walk or stand for extended periods of time.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs; occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs with assistance.
• The noise level is generally moderate to high.
• Team Members are subject to a variety of weather conditions, including but not limited to: heat, sun exposure, cold, and inclement weather. Depending on the assigned location, work can be almost exclusively outdoors.

Pay

$22.50 per hour
