What You’ll Actually Do
• Learn: Understand Parametric’s investment strategies, operating model, and business-critical Operations workflows to grasp how Market, Client, and Control functions support clients, portfolios, risk management, and business growth.
• Execute: Accurately perform and learn business-critical investment operations workflows, including activities such as cash and position reconciliation, trade lifecycle support, and client servicing based on team assignment.
• Investigate: Examine exceptions, operational issues, and client-impacting events using structured problem-solving and data analysis to identify root causes, assess impacts, and recommend sustainable solutions.
• Analyze: Interpret operational and investment data to detect patterns, anomalies, trends, and risks, and develop reports, dashboards, or analytical tools that translate data into actionable insights for improvements.
• Improve: Identify and contribute to opportunities for simplifying, standardizing, automating, or redesigning workflows through process mapping, requirements gathering, testing, implementation, and adoption activities.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Associate or bachelor’s degree completed by program start date (July 2027) in a relevant analytical, business, or technical field such as industrial, process, or systems engineering, data science, finance, or economics.
• Experience: No prior professional experience required; ability to use spreadsheets to organize and analyze information or learn quickly, coupled with a strong interest in a career at the intersection of investment management, operations, process improvement, data, and technology.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, a systems-thinking and continuous-improvement mindset, high attention to detail, clear written and verbal communication, and the capacity for ownership, learning agility, and adaptability.
• Bonus: Coursework, internships, or project experience in process mapping, continuous improvement, business analysis, data analysis, automation, or programming, and exposure to tools like Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, SQL, or Python.
