Operations Analyst | SS&C Technologies

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at SS&C Technologies, with hybrid options in Denver, CO, Jacksonville, FL, and Fort Worth, TX. SS&C is a leading financial services and healthcare technology company that provides expertise, scale, and proprietary software solutions to its clients. As an Operations Analyst, you will be integral to the timely and accurate execution of critical financial operations, ensuring compliance and smooth functioning for a diverse client base.

What You’ll Actually Do
Execute Operations: Accurately execute core financial operations activities, including transaction processing, tax payments, and account maintenance.
Manage Data & Transactions: Input, maintain, and update client data within InnoTrust, InnoPay, and other relevant systems, while processing various financial transactions such as cash, wire, ACH, checks, and securities.
Reconcile and Resolve: Perform thorough account and bank reconciliations, diligently researching and resolving any out-of-balance issues.
Client & Internal Support: Build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with clients, internal departments, vendors, and partners to resolve issues and provide timely user support.
Process Improvement & Compliance: Adhere strictly to documented processes, draft and update internal policies and procedures, and assist in audits and internal projects as needed.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Understanding of core financial operations, client service principles, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Experience: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under strict deadlines while ensuring a high degree of accuracy.
• Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, excellent written and verbal communication, keen attention to detail, and a willingness to challenge current processes and propose improvements.
• Bonus: Financial services experience, particularly in reconciliation, shadow posting, and processing cash and securities transactions; knowledge of trust operations, financial markets, securities, or retirement industries; or familiarity with InnoTrust, Black Diamond, Advent ACD, InnoPay, or SQL.
