What We Look For In a Statistics Graduate Level Tutor

• Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction:
  • Be familiar with common graduate statistics curricula and the typical challenges students face, such as understanding measure-theoretic probability foundations, deriving estimator properties, and interpreting complex model outputs.
  • Adapt instruction effectively by incorporating statistical computing tools like R or Python, utilizing relevant research paper examples, and designing proof-based exercises to support both master’s and doctoral students across various quantitative disciplines.
