This role is crucial for transforming how people learn by connecting knowledgeable tutors with students seeking to master Claude AI, making a significant impact on their academic and professional success.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Provide Instruction: Deliver personalized 1-on-1 online tutoring sessions, tailoring instruction to individual students’ specific learning goals and needs related to Claude AI.
• Explain Capabilities: Educate students on advanced Claude AI functionalities, including deep dives into prompt engineering, long-context processing, analytical reasoning, code generation, document analysis, and creative writing assistance.
• Guide Application: Guide students through practical applications, constructing clear and detailed prompts, utilizing long context windows for research synthesis, code review, writing feedback, and data interpretation with Claude.
• Foster Critical Thinking: Emphasize critical thinking about AI outputs, connecting Claude usage to enhanced research productivity, content development, and analytical problem-solving in academic and professional contexts.
• Adapt Curriculum: Adjust instructional methods based on identified student struggles and common AI assistant literacy challenges, incorporating hands-on interaction, prompt iteration exercises, and ethical AI discussions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Expertise as an independent contractor, specializing in Claude AI, combined with strong teaching abilities tailored for academic and professional settings.
• Experience: Demonstrated proficiency in teaching prompt crafting techniques, output analysis, and the practical application of Claude for diverse learning objectives.
• Skills:
• Advanced mastery of Claude AI capabilities, encompassing prompt engineering, long-context processing, analytical reasoning, code generation, document analysis, creative writing, and understanding AI safety and ethical considerations.
• Ability to effectively explain intricate concepts such as system prompts, context window utilization, and responsible AI interaction to students.
• Familiarity with common AI assistant literacy needs and challenges, including crafting precise instructions and critically evaluating AI-generated analysis for accuracy.
• Proficiency in adapting instructional approaches, utilizing hands-on interaction, prompt iteration exercises, and ethical AI discussions to support student learning.
• Communication: Exceptional communication skills paired with a friendly and engaging teaching style, capable of adapting to various learning styles and student needs.
