About the Internship:

Levy’s On-Deck Summer Internship is a 10-week, project-based program designed to provide college students with hands-on experience in the hospitality industry. Interns will work on a variety of projects aimed at improving business operations and enhancing the guest experience. Projects may include developing new marketing campaigns, streamlining operations, or conducting market research.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support all Levy Storytelling Archival Efforts
• Tightening existing and creating new archival processes to preserve company history
• Supporting creative ideation of branding efforts
• Aiding creative design development
• Assisting copywriting
• Creating and printing collateral
• Supporting events as needed
• Help team brainstorm creative campaign ideas
• Act as an internal marketing advocate
• Stay up-to-date and share latest marketing and industry trends with the team
• Monitor competitors
• Lead asset / server management

Required Currently pursuings:

• Full-time student currently enrolled at an accredited four-year university/college majoring in an appropriate discipline
• A skilled multitasker who works with a sense of urgency
• A team player with the ability to work cohesively with Levy team members and fellow interns alike
• An effective communicator comfortable engaging with potential guests, leadership, and key stakeholders
• Hospitality focused individual with a desire to learn and grow within the industry
• Fluent in English reading, writing, and speaking
• Efficient in basic math and computer skills (MS Office, Outlook)
• Ability to provide own housing and transportation accommodations to Levy’s Chicago Home Office for the duration of the 10-week program

Preferred Currently pursuings:

• Strong understanding of principles of brand marketing including integrated campaigns, brand voice, and social media
• Graphic design skills (and/or familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) are a bonus
