Office Manager | JOEY Restaurant Group
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at JOEY Restaurant Group, located in Dallas, TX. JOEY Restaurants exists to deliver the ultimate dining experience through handcrafted, locally and globally inspired menu offerings, presented by world-class hospitality leaders in modern, warm, and lively environments. As the Office Manager, you will play an important role in the daily operations of the restaurant, acting as the “glue” of the team by managing and anticipating the administrative needs of the business.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Office Operations Leadership: Train all office partners, effectively manage all office and POS supply inventories including paper, staples orders, and gift cards, and ensure office equipment is in proper working order.
• Compliance & Security Management: Ensure local, state, and federal workplace postings are valid, organize monthly health and safety meetings, complete and file incident reports, and maintain security systems such as safe combinations, locks, and key distribution, including weekly anti-theft audits.
• Human Resources & Documentation: Maintain accurate employee information in the company’s HRIS, organize and maintain the accuracy of employee online, paper, and confidential personnel files, input and update all employee certifications, and promptly remove partners from all systems upon termination.
• Financial & Payroll Administration: Reconcile and balance daily cash, complete biweekly payroll preparation processes, communicate any off-cycle pay adjustments, accurately account for the tip distribution process, manage partner labor input, monitor custom reports to verify accuracy of credit card tips paid via payroll, and monitor and reconcile daily cash expenses and out-of-store purchases.
• Budget & Performance Reporting: Manage the overall office budget and ensure profit updates are communicated to the management team daily.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Managerial-level administration. This role requires core domain knowledge in comprehensive office management and operational support.
• Experience: 1+ years’ experience in a similar administration role, with demonstrated ability to succeed in a demanding environment.
• Skills: Strong organizational capabilities and a proactive approach to administrative tasks. Proficiency in troubleshooting payment receiving systems and POS Terminals, maintaining security systems, and accurately managing financial records including cash reconciliation and payroll preparation. Essential qualities include being genuine, warm, caring, honest, and possessing integrity, coupled with exceptional relationship-building and communication skills, and the ability to provide and receive feedback for personal growth.
• Bonus: Prior experience working specifically within the hospitality industry is considered a significant advantage.
