Your Mission: Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy high-performance, scalable backend services and APIs using [e.g., Python, Go, Java] within a microservices architecture.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, frontend engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications and elegant solutions.
• Drive best practices in software engineering, including code reviews, testing, documentation, and maintainability.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence and knowledge sharing.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems to ensure reliability, performance, and security.
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the strategic technical roadmap of our platform.

What You Bring: Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
• Deep expertise in at least one modern backend programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java, C#) and related frameworks.
• Proven experience with designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong understanding of database technologies (both SQL and NoSQL, e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and software architecture patterns.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Experience with real-time data processing or message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of distributed systems design and challenges.
• Previous experience in a high-growth startup environment.
• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub profile.
