About the Job

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a NICU Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join their First Call Staffing Solutions (FCSS) team. FCSS is a unique travel agency that supports the Piedmont integrated care delivery system, offering respiratory therapists the opportunity to take job assignments across multiple locations in Georgia.

As a NICU Respiratory Therapist with FCSS, you will:

• Perform patient assessments, general and critical care respiratory care procedures, and respiratory care for newborns in Labor and Delivery
• Analyze and interpret blood gases
• Maintain and manage equipment
• Provide patient and family education

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
• Previous working experience in neonatal respiratory care, or successful completion of a department-specific orientation
• Must have 2 years of work experience as an NICU RRT Therapist
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care and licensed by the Georgia State Board of Medical Examiners
• Current certifications in BCLS, ACLS, and NRP
• Actively practicing and maintaining all required competencies in both adult and neonatal areas

Preferred Qualifications

• Neonatal Pediatric Specialist credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care
