Internship Program Overview:

The New Home Sales Internship Program at Starlight Homes offers aspiring sales professionals an in-depth introduction to the new home sales process. Interns will work closely with our experienced sales team, gaining invaluable insights into the dynamic homebuilding industry, effective sales strategies, and the comprehensive customer buying experience. This internship is designed to provide an excellent opportunity to develop crucial skills in sales, marketing, and business development, while also offering potential for future career opportunities within our company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Sales Team: Provide comprehensive support to the sales team in daily activities, including engaging with potential buyers and preparing impactful presentations.
  • Customer Engagement: Actively greet and engage with prospective homebuyers, fostering positive initial interactions.
  • Sales Presentations: Observe and learn from experienced sales consultants as they deliver sales presentations to prospective buyers, understanding how to effectively implement our proven sales process.
  • CRM Management: Gain an understanding of customer data management by observing experienced sales consultants utilize the company’s CRM system. Learn the importance of consistent customer follow-up and ensuring accurate, up-to-date information on leads, prospects, and sales activities.
  • Contract Preparation: Familiarize yourself with the necessary documentation and legal aspects involved in the home sales process.
  • Event Planning & Coordination: Contribute to the coordination of community events, grand openings, and various promotional activities designed to attract and engage potential homebuyers.
  • Training & Development: Actively participate in sales training sessions to deepen your understanding of our product offerings, the complete sales process, and effective sales techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field (Junior or Senior year preferred). Must be currently enrolled or recently graduated.
  • Strong interest in real estate, home sales, or the construction industry.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to learn.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Previous sales or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
