The New Home Sales Internship Program with Ashton Woods offers aspiring sales professionals an invaluable, in-depth introduction to the new home sales process. Interns will work directly with our experienced sales team, gaining crucial insights into the homebuilding industry, effective sales strategies, and the comprehensive customer buying experience. Responsibilities

  • Assist Sales Team: Provide support to the sales team in daily activities, including engaging with potential buyers and preparing sales presentations.
  • Customer Engagement: Greet and actively engage prospective homebuyers, creating a welcoming and informative environment.
  • Sales Presentations: Observe and learn from the delivery of sales presentations to prospective buyers, understanding how to effectively implement our proven sales process.
  • CRM Management: Gain an understanding of customer relationship management by observing experienced sales consultants manage customer data in the company’s CRM system. Learn about effective customer follow-up strategies and ensuring accurate and up-to-date information on leads, prospects, and sales activities.
  • Contract Preparation: Learn about the essential documentation and legal aspects involved in the home sales process.
  • Event Planning & Coordination: Help coordinate community events, grand openings, and various promotional activities designed to attract and engage potential homebuyers.
  • Training & Development: Actively participate in sales training sessions to deepen your understanding of our diverse product offerings, the complete sales process, and effective sales techniques.

Qualifications

  • Academic Pursuit: Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field (Junior or Senior year preferred). Must be currently enrolled or recently graduated.
  • Industry Interest: Strong interest in real estate, home sales, or the construction industry is essential.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-Motivation: Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Experience (Plus): Previous sales or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
