Internship Overview

The New Home Sales Internship Program with Ashton Woods offers aspiring sales professionals an invaluable, in-depth introduction to the new home sales process. Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Team Support: Actively assist the sales team in their daily operations, including engaging with prospective buyers and preparing compelling presentations.
  • Customer Engagement: Enthusiastically greet and interact with potential homebuyers, creating a welcoming and informative experience.
  • Sales Presentation Observation: Observe and learn from experienced sales professionals as they deliver presentations to prospective buyers, gaining an understanding of how to effectively implement our proven sales process.
  • CRM Management Insight: Observe experienced sales consultants manage customer data within the company’s CRM system. Develop an understanding of crucial customer follow-up procedures and the importance of maintaining accurate, up-to-date information on leads, prospects, and sales activities.
  • Contract Preparation Learning: Gain knowledge about the documentation, legal aspects, and procedural requirements involved in the home sales process.
  • Event Planning & Coordination: Assist in the planning and coordination of various community events, grand openings, and promotional activities specifically designed to attract and engage potential homebuyers.
  • Training & Development Participation: Actively participate in sales training sessions to deepen understanding of Ashton Woods’ diverse product offerings, the intricate sales process, and effective sales techniques.

Qualifications

  • Academic Pursuit: Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field (Junior or Senior year preferred). Must be currently enrolled or a recent graduate.
  • Industry Interest: Strong, demonstrated interest in the real estate, home sales, or construction industry.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-Motivation: Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and possess a strong eagerness to learn.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Work Environment Adaptability: Ability to thrive and contribute effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Experience (Plus): Previous sales or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
