Job Description

This is an internship role for a Neuropsychologist, designed for individuals seeking to learn and gain experience in the field.

Role Responsibilities:
Learning Neuropsychological Assessment: The intern will be trained in the process of conducting comprehensive neuropsychological assessments.
Diagnosing Disorders: Involvement in learning to diagnose various neuropsychological disorders.
Treatment Planning: Participation in developing effective treatment plans tailored to patients’ needs.
Patient Focus: A keen interest in working with patients afflicted by traumatic brain injuries (TBI) and a range of other neurological conditions is essential.
Research and Collaboration: The intern will also be engaged in research activities and participate in collaborative projects with other healthcare professionals, fostering an interdisciplinary approach to patient care.

Work Arrangement:
The position is a hybrid role, primarily based in Bala-Cynwyd, PA, with the flexibility for some work to be completed from home.

Qualifications:
Specialized Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in Neuropsychology and Neuropsychological Assessment techniques.
TBI Experience: Prior experience with the management of Traumatic Brain Injury is required.
Broad Knowledge Base: Solid foundational knowledge in both Psychology and Medicine.
Analytical & Research Skills: Possession of strong analytical and research capabilities.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are critical for patient interaction, documentation, and collaboration.
