Description: Network Support Intern (Summer 2025)

This is a paid, 12-week summer internship (Summer 2025) offering a steep learning curve in a fun, real-world work environment. Interns will work full-time hours alongside the Support team, making significant contributions.

Responsibilities:

Research and resolve issues reported by Meraki customers and partners across the entire Meraki product line (wireless access points, security appliances, switches, and Systems Manager applications).
Assist with lab testing of Meraki products as needed.
Identify, reproduce, and document bugs.
Complete a network project and present findings to peers and leaders. Interns are encouraged to propose their own projects.

Currently pursuings:

Expected graduation in Spring 2026 with a BSc or similar degree in Networking and Systems Administration, Computer Information Technology, Network Technologies, Computer Science, or a related field from a university/college or accredited course. Masters students are not eligible.
Detailed understanding of networking principles, including the ability to explain the functions and differences among the link, network, transport, and application layers of the OSI model.
Empathetic approach to customer support, demonstrating skills in problem-solving, explanation, and resolution.
Resourceful, imaginative, and creative with excellent attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with relevant technologies (Networking, Troubleshooting, CCNA, CCNP, DHCP, TCP, UDP, VLANs, ACL, ARP, STP (spanning tree protocol), Packet Tracer, Wireshark, Routing & Switching, Cisco Networking Academy, CCENT are beneficial).

Mentorship and Support:

Interns will be paired with a mentor who will provide feedback, guidance, introductions to team members, and assistance with tools and processes.
