Job Description: Network Automation Internship (Summer 2025)

Juniper Networks is seeking continuing students for a Network Automation Summer 2025 Internship within their CFTS Enterprise Support team. This team supports some of the world’s largest enterprises and hyperscale networks.

Responsibilities:

• Gain practical experience in network automation.
• Learn about Juniper equipment used in AI Fabrics and internet backbones.
• Automate various network tasks (configuration, upgrades, traffic testing).
• Help replicate and resolve complex network issues at scale.

Qualifications:

Required:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, graduating December 2025 or later.
• Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting.
• Understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals.

Preferred:
• Experience building projects and managing repositories (e.g., Git).
• Experience with network automation tools.

Compensation:

The minimum salary is $58,431.86, and the maximum salary is $83,996.32 per year. The actual salary offered will depend on factors like location, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Employment is “at-will,” allowing for salary modifications based on performance and market factors.
