Job Description: NBCUniversal Academic Year Internship

NBCUniversal offers paid academic year internships providing immersive experiences and real-world contributions to significant projects. Interns will be exposed to NBCU’s culture and receive support and guidance over two semesters. The program aims to unlock students’ potential through meaningful contributions in media, entertainment, and technology.

Program Details:

Application period: April 21 – May 9, 2024 (may close early).
Program dates: September 15, 2025 – April 17, 2026.
Time commitment: 16-24 hours per week (schedule accommodating course schedules).
Location: Universal City, CA (on-site).

Specific Internship Example: Fandango 360 Marketing (SpinCo)

This internship focuses on developing case study documents analyzing campaign performance across various ad platforms. The intern will learn to use the Fandango360 platform for custom targeting and support ad-hoc projects.

Qualifications:

• Active enrollment in a degree-granting program (September 2025 – April 2026); December 2025 graduates are ineligible.
• Sophomore or above (30 credits minimum); Junior or above preferred.
• GPA of 3.0 or above preferred.
• US work authorization without requiring NBCUniversal sponsorship.
• Availability to work 16-24 hours per week.
• Willingness to work in Universal City, CA.

Compensation:

• Undergraduate interns: $17.50/hour.
• Graduate interns: $18.50/hour.
