Job Description: NBCUniversal Academic Year Internship Program
NBCUniversal offers a paid Academic Year Internship Program running from September 15, 2025, to April 17, 2026 (16-24 hours/week). The program provides students with immersive work experience, mentorship, and networking opportunities within NBCU’s culture. • Eligibility: Actively enrolled in a degree-granting program (September 2025 – April 2026); sophomore standing or above (30 credits); authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship; available to work 16-24 hours/week in Universal City, CA. December 2025 graduates are ineligible.
• Preferred Qualifications: Junior or senior standing; GPA 3.0 or above; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Sharepoint and Excel); experience with CRM or AirTable; strong attention to detail; interest in marketing, advertising, and streaming; initiative and ownership.
• hourly Rate: $17.50 (undergraduate); $25.00 (graduate).
Specific Internship Opportunity: Peacock Audience Development
This internship within the Media Group focuses on supporting Peacock’s Audience Development Team. The team works on strategies and campaigns to enhance user experience on the Peacock streaming platform and TV Everywhere apps. The intern will contribute to various aspects, including:
• Responsibilities: Requesting, tracking, and trafficking campaign creatives; researching titles/themes for on-platform curations; assisting with email campaign development (content selection, copywriting, briefing design teams, proofing); maintaining impression reporting; analyzing marketing campaign results and making recommendations.
Important Note: While hired as an NBCU intern, the internship and responsibilities might transition to SpinCo in the future, given the planned spin-off.
