Job Description
This is an on-site internship role for MSW Interns at PLC Charter Schools. Interns will be responsible for supporting students’ social and emotional development, collaborating with teachers and parents, facilitating small group sessions, and assisting in the implementation of social-emotional learning programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting students’ social and emotional development.
• Collaborating with teachers and parents.
• Facilitating small group sessions.
• Assisting in the implementation of social-emotional learning programs.
Qualifications:
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of social work principles and practices.
• Empathy and understanding of diverse student populations.
• Interest in working with children and adolescents.
• Enrolled in a Master of Social Work program.
• Bilingual proficiency is a plus.
