Mosquito Technician | Terminix

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Terminix, located in Doraville, GA. In this role, you will be crucial in delivering specialized mosquito control services, enhancing the well-being of customers and communities in the Greater Atlanta area. You will ensure safe and effective treatment, contributing directly to the company’s mission.

The TL;DR

• Location: In-person, Doraville, GA
• Pay: $17 hourly
• Team: Part of a field service team operating out of the Doraville office, comfortable with self-directed work after training.
• Mission: To effectively control mosquito populations for customers in the Greater Atlanta area, enhancing their outdoor living spaces.
• Tech Stack: Smartphone apps

What You’ll Actually Do
Daily Operations: Manage a daily route by picking up, operating, and dropping off a company truck from the Doraville, GA office.
Mosquito Treatment: Apply mosquito control solutions to customer yards by mixing and spraying appropriate chemicals using a 60 lbs. spray backpack.
Customer Engagement: Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and building relationships within neighborhoods.
Field Work: Conduct all work outdoors in varying weather conditions, requiring regular walking, crouching, and movement throughout the day.
Sales Contribution: Identify and secure opportunities for commission on additional service sales during customer interactions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: High school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with an openness to learn about pest control.
• Experience: Possess a valid driver’s license from the state of residence and comfort with self-directed work after initial training.
• Skills: Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills, basic math for chemical mixing, and demonstrated attention to detail.
• Bonus: Prior customer-facing experience.
