Job Description: Mobile Software Engineer Intern
PayPal is seeking talented Mobile Software Engineer Interns to join their team and develop innovative solutions for their iOS and Android platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop mobile applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in testing and debugging mobile applications to guarantee high-quality performance.
Basic Requirements:
• Strong applied experience: Demonstrated ability to build, break, and rebuild software applications.
• Familiarity with mobile app development frameworks and languages: Swift for iOS, Kotlin/Java for Android, or React Native.
• Understanding of software development principles: Version control systems (Git), agile methodologies.
• Experience with UI/UX design principles and tools.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration with backend services.
• Prior coursework or personal projects related to mobile development (preferred).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• A desire to continuously learn and explore new technologies.
Internship Program Information:
• Summer 2025 program: No Spring or Fall 2025 internships available.
• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited college or university.
• Must be returning to school in Fall 2025.
• Must reside in the U.S. during the summer internship program.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. for the summer.
• Location: Varies within U.S. PayPal Office Locations.
PayPal’s hybrid work model offers flexibility, with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.
