Mobile Software Engineer Internship:
This internship program is designed to provide students with hands-on experience in developing mobile applications for the world’s leading payments company.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop mobile applications for iOS and/or Android platforms.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in testing and debugging of mobile applications to ensure high quality and performance.
Basic Requirements:
• Strong Applied Experience: Demonstrated ability to build, break, and rebuild software applications.
• Mobile Development Knowledge: Familiarity with mobile app development frameworks and languages such as Swift (iOS), Kotlin/Java (Android), or cross-platform tools like React Native.
• Technical Skills: Understanding of software development principles, version control systems (e.g., Git), agile methodologies, UI/UX design principles, RESTful APIs, and backend service integration.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Communication & Teamwork: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Growth Mindset: A constant desire to learn, grow, and explore new things.
Internship Program Details:
• Dates: Summer 2025 (no Spring or Fall 2025 internship options available)
• Eligibility: Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited college or university, returning to school in Fall 2025, and residing in the U.S. during the internship.
• Location: Varies within U.S. PayPal office locations.
• Work Model: PayPal’s balanced hybrid work model allows for 3 days in the office and 2 days at home or in a PayPal office.
