Job Description:
Harding Academy is seeking an experienced Middle School History Teacher for Grade 8. This is a full-time position with benefits. The primary teaching responsibilities include:
• Delivery of a robust U.S. History curriculum to Grade 8 students.
• Serving as a grade level advisor with all associated duties.
• Planning and coordinating the annual class trip, traditionally to Washington D.C.
Essential Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in subject area
• Ability to pass a Background Screening and Drug Screening (if requested)
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s degree
• Minimum three years’ experience in an instructional role.
• Extracurricular engagement or coaching experience
• Current teacher certification in the State of Tennessee
