Job Description: Mid-Level Disability Management Specialist
Location: Renton, Washington; Everett, Washington (temporary in Renton during 2024 and 2025, then transition to Everett)
Shift: Second shift (11:30am to 8:00pm)
This role will support the 737 Northline and is expected to be 100% onsite.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Management and Employees: Facilitate interactive discussions regarding medical restrictions and qualifications.
• Identify Job Functions and Accommodations: Determine crucial job functions and explore reasonable accommodations, reassignment processes, and potential outcomes.
• Claims Management: Work with third party administrators and Workers’ Compensation Administrators to assist with detailed claims management.
• Placement Decisions: Perform analysis to ensure consistent placement decisions are made.
• Return to Work: Facilitate employee’s return to work.
• Data Management: Document, maintain, and extract employee case information, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
• Early Intervention: Provide early intervention to injured or ill employees to prevent time loss from work.
Basic Qualifications (Required):
• 3+ years of experience in Workers’ Compensation, Vocational Rehabilitation, Disability Management, Reasonable Accommodation, Work-related injuries, or Return to Work Programs.
• Willingness to work variable shifts and overtime as needed to support production.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Experience with medical confidentiality
• Experience with administration, including case management, of the reasonable accommodation process and disability-related (e.g. Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)) laws, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with government laws and regulations.
Compensation: Summary pay range: $79,050 – $106,950 (based on experience and qualifications)
