Job Description
About the Company: Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: ARWR) is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company dedicated to developing medicines that treat intractable diseases by silencing the genes that cause them. Utilizing a broad portfolio of RNA chemistries and efficient delivery modes, Arrowhead therapies leverage the RNA interference (RNAi) mechanism to induce rapid, deep, and durable knockdown of target genes. RNAi is a natural cellular process that inhibits specific gene expression, thereby affecting protein production.
The company focuses on innovative drugs for diseases with a genetic basis, typically characterized by the overproduction of disease-related proteins. Arrowhead’s RNAi technologies offer versatility to address conditions in virtually any therapeutic area and target diseases not treatable by small molecules or biologics. They are leading the field in expanding RNAi applications beyond the liver, with a clinical pipeline targeting both liver and lung diseases, supported by a promising preclinical pipeline.
Arrowhead’s corporate headquarters is in Pasadena, CA, with Research & Development teams in Madison, WI & San Diego, CA, and a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Verona, WI. The company prides itself on its nimble, science-driven innovators who collaborate to deliver new therapies to patients.
