Job Description: A|X Merchandising Intern
The A|X Merchandising Team is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Merchandising Intern to join their team for the Fall 2024 semester. This internship offers an immersive experience within the world of Armani, allowing you to gain valuable hands-on experience and develop your skills in the fashion industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Reporting: Assist with weekly business reporting and meeting preparation for the Merchandising team.
• Analysis: Contribute to seasonal competitive product and pricing analysis.
• Presentation Preparation: Assist in creating compelling PowerPoint presentations for upper management.
• Meeting Participation: Attend various meetings and actively participate in discussions.
• Project Work: Engage in ongoing semester projects. Previous examples include Brand Collaboration research, Competitor Analysis Projects (Marketing Campaigns, RTW Newness, Trend Analysis), Sneaker and Accessory Release Calendar, and Website Analysis Project.
Skills & Competencies:
• Proficient in Microsoft Systems, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and efficiently.
• Detail-oriented and capable of working under tight deadlines.
• Prior experience or internships in merchandising, buying, planning, or a related field is a plus.
• Knowledge of merchandising functions is beneficial.

• Demonstrates a strong interest in understanding business and organizational goals, with a desire to learn about the world of Armani.
• Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and pays meticulous attention to detail.
• Previous work experience or internships in related fields are a plus.
Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.
• Available for a minimum of 3 days in the office within Monday-Thursday.
• This is an unpaid internship, but proof of school credit is required.
