Responsibilities:

  • Deliver compassionate and effective therapeutic counseling services directly to children and families within their home environments.
  • Empower children and caregivers by teaching practical strategies for managing challenging behaviors, fostering emotional regulation, and building healthier, more resilient relationships.
  • Actively collaborate with the child-family team, which may include essential stakeholders such as teachers, care managers, social workers, and other community providers, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Diligently participate in ongoing clinical supervision to enhance therapeutic skills and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation of all client interactions, treatment plans, and progress.

Requirements:

  • Valid NJ License: Must possess a current and valid New Jersey professional license as an LSW, LAC, LMFT, LCSW, or LPC.
  • Valid NJ Driver’s License: A valid New Jersey driver’s license is essential for in-community service delivery.
  • Relevant Experience: A minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in community-based mental health services is required.
  • Bilingual Advantage: While not mandatory, proficiency in a second language is considered a significant plus.
